Nursery Deputy Manager

Are you ready to take your passion for early years education to the next level? Chapter One Childcare is on the lookout for an inspirational Deputy Manager to join and lead our Pre-school team in Edinburgh. With a focus on hands-on, experiential learning, we're seeking a dynamic leader to help our children and teams flourish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare and early childhood education.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of all children in your care.
• Plan and implement engaging activities aligned with the curriculum that stimulate learning and creativity.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, staff, and management.
• Support staff development through coaching and mentoring.
• Uphold compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Lead the nursery in the absence of the Nursery manager.

We are looking for:

• Qualified Leaders: HNC or equivalent, with a solid understanding of Care Inspectorate & SSSC standards.
• Passionate Educators: With a genuine love for early years education and a flair for outdoor learning.
• Team Players: Excellent organisational and communication skills, ready to contribute to our collaborative culture.
