This is your chance to join a leading national infrastructure services provider and play a key role in shaping safe, efficient operations across diverse environments.

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Operational Safety Advisor who thrives on driving high standards, influencing teams, and embedding a proactive safety culture. You’ll be at the heart of operations—partnering with teams on the ground to ensure health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) excellence is not just met, but continuously improved.

What you’ll be doing:

Championing Safety Strategy

  • Align day-to-day operations with wider HSEQ goals
  • Support teams in applying safety frameworks and best practices in real-world settings

Driving Standards & Communication

  • Stay ahead of legislation and industry developments
  • Create clear, practical safety briefings and procedures that teams can rely on

Leading Incident Insight

  • Support investigations using root cause analysis
  • Help turn lessons learned into meaningful preventative actions

Supporting Learning & Capability

  • Provide expert guidance on safety systems and policies
  • Help operational teams confidently navigate safety processes

Ensuring Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct audits, inspections, and on-site observations
  • Analyse data to spot trends and shape improvement plans
  • Contribute to risk assessments and practical risk reduction strategies

What’s required

  • Proven experience in a safety advisory role within operational environments
  • Experience working on civil engineering infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and incident investigation techniques
  • Confidence in analysing data and turning insights into action
  • A track record of influencing positive safety culture and driving change
  • Experience working collaboratively with operational teams and subject matter experts
  • Familiarity with safety systems and reporting tools
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
  • Sharp problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • NEBOSH qualification (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence

Why this role?

This isn’t just about compliance—it’s about shaping how safety is lived and breathed across the business. You’ll have the opportunity to influence, innovate, and make a tangible difference every day.

If this sounds like your next move, we’d love to hear from you.
