  • Overall accountability for operational safety and performance
  • Line manager responsibility for operations supervisors
  • Leadership role over all operatives and supervisors
  • Uncompromising approach to Zero Harm strategy within the contract
  • Ensure workforce is effectively resourced
  • Ensure workforce are trained and competent
  • Drive efficiency and right first time operational delivery through effective
  • works programming
  • Provide visible Operational leadership both on site and within the depot
  • Proactively manage and support Operational Supervisors
  • Proactive short interval control of operational programme
  • Support the Supervisors in delivering effective briefings and stand down
  • sessions
  • Ensure that contract/project outcomes are in line with the required
  • safety, quality and financial targets

  • Experienced in the management of Operational teams
  • Solution orientated individual, with ability to analyse risks and benefits of
  • options to resolve identified issues.
  • Proven experience of proactive management in a fast-paced operational
  • environment
  • Proven experience of working to tight deadlines with an ability to prioritise
