LHH is working in partnership with our respected public sector client as they seek an operational leader who will support a specialised team in the delivery of high value complex public sector contracts.

The organisation has a contract portfolio that supports the delivery of a wide range of essential public services provided by councils and includes contracts for social care. This is designed to maximise the value of council spending through savings, efficiency and innovation and their contracts also facilitate national and local policy priorities, support the local economy, and generate additional social value for Scotland’s communities.

Within the role you will lead the team in its day-to-day operations, supporting your direct reports to deliver outcomes against performance targets, driving continuous improvement and managing provider performance to ensure best value through a robust commercial approach.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced and people focussed operations manager with a commercial outlook and a background from working within or alongside the public sector.
