We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Learning and Organisational Development professionals who are passionate about developing people, building organisational capability and supporting a positive organisational culture across the Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Learning and Organisational Development Team and play a key role in supporting the Council to achieve its strategic objectives through the development of its people and culture. Working closely with the Organisational Development Manager, you will help design, deliver and evaluate learning and organisational development initiatives that strengthen employee capability, leadership effectiveness and workforce capacity.

The role will focus on delivering key actions within the Council's People Strategy, including leadership development, employee engagement, workforce and succession planning, and the delivery of learning through face-to-face, blended and digital approaches. You will work collaboratively with managers and stakeholders across the organisation to identify development needs and translate these into effective learning and organisational development solutions.

You will lead and support a range of learning and development projects, design engaging learning interventions, facilitate workshops and development programmes, evaluate outcomes and use feedback and data to drive continuous improvement. You will also contribute to the development and administration of learning systems and help ensure employees are able to access and maximise the range of learning opportunities available to them.

About You

You will be an experienced learning and organisational development practitioner with a track record of designing and delivering effective learning and development initiatives.

You will be confident working with managers and senior leaders to identify development needs, provide advice and guidance, and deliver solutions that support organisational priorities. You will be an engaging facilitator who is comfortable delivering workshops and development programmes to a wide range of audiences, including senior managers.

You will bring a proactive and innovative approach to your work and will enjoy working collaboratively to improve organisational performance, employee engagement and leadership capability.
