Full Job Description

Stirling is an ambitious Council with an unrivalled location and high quality community attributes. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of PA to the Chief Executive. This role provides the right candidate with a fantastic opportunity to work across the Council, with an internal and external focus, helping to deliver positive outcomes for those who visit, work or live in Stirling.

The role holder will provide effective and efficient business administration and secretarial support services to the Chief Executive. You will be an effective communicator with experience of supporting senior management, and capable of presenting to a range of audiences, often in pursuit of information or action. You will manage administrative staff in the Chief Executive's office, and provide leadership to the wider administrative staffing group, encouraging their professional development, and participating in reviews of systems and business processes to ensure continuous improvement across the Council's administrative and secretarial practice.
