Connect Appointments is recruiting Packaging Operatives to join an established food production business based in Broxburn on a temporary ongoing basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Our client operates a busy chilled production facility, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with a competitive hourly rate and full training provided.

What's on offer?

• Temporary ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
• Monday to Friday, 06:05 to 14:25
• 13.09 per hour, paid weekly
• Full training provided

As a Packaging Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking, packing and monitoring quality control of products on a fast-paced production line
• Operating sharp knife machinery safely in line with site procedures
• Manual handling and weighing of products accurately
• Supporting general production duties as required

To be considered as a Packaging Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good time keeping and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Access to your own transport due to the location and shift hours

Please note this role involves working in a cold environment - full PPE is provided.
