Full Job Description

With nearly 25 years of experience, our Bathgate location in Scotland, UK is an integral part of Catalent's European clinical supply services network. This 141,000 sq. ft. facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors' studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, including clinical supply management, FastChain® demand-led supply, clinical-scale commercial packaging, and QP release services. We have high-speed, automated primary packaging for blisters, as well as semi-automated primary packaging for bottles. We offer packaging design services on site, as well as secondary packaging and clinical labeling services., We have an opportunity for a Verifier to join our team. In this role, you will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting the packaging of clinical trial materials. You will maintain accurate documentation, follow established procedures, and contribute to a high standard of operational excellence. This position is ideal for someone who values precision and enjoys working in a regulated environment. The Role

  • Follow Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), and manual handling procedures at all times.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards across all work areas.
  • Complete documentation in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
  • Label, assemble, and package Clinical Trial Materials according to approved procedures.
  • Escalate issues that may impact packaging timelines to the Senior Operator or Team Leader.
  • Report and document any deviations from packaging instructions or procedures.
  • Attend required training and maintain accurate training records.
  • Carry out tasks in accordance with the Packaging Skills Matrix.
  • Undertake additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.

  • Numeracy skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.
  • Preferred Skills & Background
  • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical packaging or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail for hand packaging activities.
