Parking Attendant Modern Apprenticeship

Job purpose: Babington are supporting NSL for a Modern apprenticeship opportunity as a Parking Attendant in Edinburgh, where you will gain hands on experience, build real world confidence and working towards your SCQF 6 Diploma in Customer Service- all while earning a salary.

You will play an important role in keeping Edinburgh's roads safe, accessible and running effectively. With full training provided your day to day role will include:

• To carry out parking enforcement in an efficient and courteous manner and enforce the Road .

• Traffic Act 1991 (as amended) in respect of parking controls and traffic regulation orders.

• Liaising with members of the public and giving advice on parking issues and enforcement procedures.

• Issuing penalty charge notices to vehicles in contravention of the regulations on street.
