Experteer Overview In this role you will deliver performance and P&L insights for SSE Energy Markets, shaping decisions across trading and asset portfolios. You will build dashboards and reports, turning data into clear business insights that drive value. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve processes and support informed decision-making. The role combines analytical rigor with stakeholder engagement in a culture focused on safety, wellbeing and inclusion. This is a hands-on opportunity to influence how energy market performance is understood and acted upon. Pay / Benefits

  • Develop trusted relationships across Energy Markets and deliver performance and P&L analysis to support decision-making Create and enhance dashboards, reports and visualisations to communicate key business drivers Use data, modelling and analytics to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement Support efficient, sustainable reporting processes and improve data quality Promote a positive safety culture and support SSE's health and wellbeing commitments Collaborate with multiple teams to turn insights into business value Tasks Experience with data tools such as SQL, Python, Databricks, GCP or similar Strong visualization skills with Power BI, Tableau or equivalent Commercial acumen in an energy trading environment and ability to link insights to business value Collaborative, inclusive approach with proven cross-functional relationship-building Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly Key requirements flexible first options salary 44,000 - 65,900 + performance-related bonus private healthcare and gym membership discounts online GP and 24/7 counselling Cycle to Work scheme maternity and adoption pay, paternity leave
