Full Job Description
Hours: 5 hours per week - Mondays from 10:00am to 3:00pm (with potential for additional hours to cover holidays, sickness, or respite), A Personal Assistant is required for a 25-year-old man with autism and a learning disability, to provide support with social activities, and maintaining a consistent routine. He enjoys going to the gym, gaming, walking, and values structure in his weekly schedule. The ideal candidate will be reliable, proactive, and supportive of routine-based engagement. Tasks will include:
- Assisting the supported person with attending the gym, on walks and participating in community activities.
- Assisting the supported person to come up with and planning activities.
- Assisting the supported person to maintain a weekly routine
- Providing general social support
- Any other duties commensurate with the role of Personal Assistant Driving Licence required? Driving licence and own car preferred Applicants must have membership of Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) or be willing to join this scheme and share these details with the employer.
