Job Description
You will join a team of Pest Control Officers and contribute to the provision of the NRS pest control service within Community Safety (including covering dog warden duties when required). Duties will include planning and carrying out site visits and inspections city wide and provide advice to the public and other stakeholders. Experience in the pest control or allied industries and a current driving licence are essential. Officers are provided with all required PPE and ongoing training and have access to a Council van which they may use for home to work travel.
Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 37 + 2.5 hours contractual overtime per week.
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday, with weekend standby service provision on a rota basis.
Annual Salary: £26,031.26 - £27,680.96 on an incremental scale
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts a non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £2,173, a working context & demand (WCD) payment of £1,213 per annum, and you will also receive a payment in relation to the contractual overtime noted.
