pharmacy assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Right Medicine Pharmacy Brora. As a pharmacy assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patients and customers, helping to create a welcoming and professional experience every day.
This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, remains calm in a busy environment and is keen to develop their knowledge and skills. Every day can be different, and you will receive full support from our experienced pharmacy team., Your duties will include:
Welcoming patients and customers and offering help in a warm, professional way
Supporting the wider pharmacy team including Dispensers, Technicians and the Pharmacist
Promoting pharmacy services and providing guidance on over the counter medicines
Receiving and handing out prescriptions under the guidance of the Pharmacist
Keeping the pharmacy clean, organised and running smoothly
Carrying out a varied range of essential day-to-day pharmacy duties
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly, approachable and confident speaking with the public
Organised, dependable and comfortable working at pace
Interested in healthcare and community focused work
Pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
Willing to complete required training programmes, some of which may take place outside normal working hours
