- Pharmacy Dispenser/Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser - Dumfries Pharmacy, 24 hours per week
- Thursday, Wednesday & Thursday : 9am-6pm (daily 1 hour unpaid break)
- As a Pharmacy Dispenser/Trainee Pharmacy Dispenser you will assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of our patients medications. We are looking for someone who is accurate in their approach and able to provide exceptional service all round.

As a Right Medicine Pharmacy Dispenser, youll work as part of the Pharmacy team along with Pharmacy Assistants, Technicians and the Pharmacist to provide the Right care for our patients and customers. The role will involve assisting the Pharmacist and Technicians in the labelling, endorsing, ordering and preparation of all types of prescriptions and medicine orders, co-ordinating daily and weekly prescriptions ensuring where necessary, scripts are re-ordered and all items are made up in advance ready for collection or delivery, dealing directly with patients in obtaining medical information and dispensing prescriptions along with any other duties essential to the smooth operation of the Pharmacy.
We are ideally looking for someone who has Pharmacy experience in dispensing of medication via the formal pharmacy training route however, this is not essential and applications are welcome from those looking to progress into a role within Pharmacy., You should have the ability to work in a busy, fast paced healthcare environment, be reliable, have excellent customer service skills along with a friendly personality that our patients can trust!
Right Medicine Pharmacy operate from 41 sites across Scotland from Wick all the way down to Dumfries and many places in between and look after over 300 team members.
