Full Job Description

  • Dispensing Prescription medicine to the public in accordance with the regulations and contractual obligations.

  • Complete pharmacy operational requirements by organising and directing Dispenser's workflow, verifying their preparation, and labelling of medicines verifying order entries, charges and inspections.

  • Provide pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals, counselling patients on drug therapies.

  • Excellent customer service

  • Primarily working from our Glasgow West End Pharmacy, Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations

  • - Ensure compliance with all GPHC laws and regulations
    - Oversee inventory management and ordering of medications and supplies
    - Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize workflow and efficiency
    - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner
    - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medication therapy management
    - Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
    - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in pharmaceuticals

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the highest level of customer service and patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

    As the Pharmacy Manager you will have the responsibility to deliver great service, stock control, operational and GPhC standards.

    If you have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you could become a vital member of both the pharmacy team and the local community and could help to maintain excellent customer loyalty., Independent Prescriber Qualification Desirable but not essential from outset
