Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for a prescribing pharmacist to work between our two village pharmacies at the heart of their communities. We expect you to provide the highest level of patient care and advice utilising the experienced team and IT within the pharmacies., As an Independent Prescriber Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with patients, providing consultations, advice, and prescription services directly.

You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be keen to expand the pharmacist's role in line with NHS Scotland's strategy. You must have strong leadership skills and be an enthusiastic team-builder. Our pharmacies run contraceptive, vaccination and weight management clinics as well as NHS Scotland Pharmacy First Plus. We would like you to cover 2 full days per week plus Saturday mornings on a rotating basis, and can offer flexibility on which days you work.

• The position is based at Drongan Pharmacy in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
