Full Job Description
- Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and smoothing them
- Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
- Apply multiple layers of plaster for a smooth and even finish
- Use hand tools and power tools to shape and trim plaster
- Repair and patch damaged or cracked plaster surfaces
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines
To be considered for this role you must be a time-served Plasterer with current qualifications. In addition, the following key skills and experience are essential: - Experience of working within the insurance sector will be very advantageous.
- Demonstrable technical competencies, delivering high quality of workmanship
- Full UK driving licence
- Awareness of health & safety in the workplace
- Hardworking with excellent time management, working to targets and pre-determined timescales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, committed to customer care, Previous experience as a plasterer or in a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with different types of plaster materials and their applications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality workmanship

RFM Building Repair carry out works for leading Insurers completing repairs in domestic properties following damage caused by a number of perils.
Due to continued growth, an opportunity is available for Plasterers to join a leading supplier of Insurance Repair and renovations.
