Full Job Description
- Installing, maintaining and repairing pipe including joins, valves, drains and fixtures in all types of structures;
- Coordinating with a general contractor and other building professionals on site;
- Following current rules and regulations related to plumbing to ensure that systems pass inspection first time;
- Responding to plumbing emergencies, determining the issue and making a repair;
- Performing regular maintenance of plumbing systems to prevent emergencies.
You should be able to handle a wide range of duties and responsibilities when installing and maintaining plumbing, some of these include, SVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent is essential - 2 years' work experience after time served in apprenticeship
- Gas Safe qualification is desirable but not essential
- Proven experience of working in a team
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Plumber., Loretto is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Annually, every member of staff at the School is required to undergo, complete, and sign to confirm that they have received child protection training and will uphold it.
This is a part-time, permanent position working 22.5 hours per week across 52 weeks of the year. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The successful applicant will work three fixed days per week, which can be agreed upon within reason at the start of employment. Salary will be commensurate with experience and aptitude for the role and in the region of £22,000., - Generous pension scheme
