Plumber

The Council will pay for the PVG membership cost initially, either £18 for existing PVG scheme members, or £59 for non-members , and this cost will be deducted from an employee's first FULL month's salary payment. Job purpose/about the role To assist in domestic and commercial building maintenance by

• Be a time served trades person
• Hold the City and Guilds of London Institute Craft Course Certificate in Plumbing, the
required number of modules of the SCOTVEC/JIB National
• Certificate in Plumbing at SVQ level 2 or an equivalent level qualification in Plumbing
• Meet the criteria defined by the JIB to register as a Plumber, Reading technical drawings.
• Carrying out second and first fixes on either domestic, commercial or industrial
installations.
• Communication and teamworking.
