PM Transport Porter

Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Transport Porter to join our Coatbridge team. Supporting our wholesale distribution network, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are accurately sorted, allocated, and loaded onto the correct delivery routes for onward distribution. This is a fast-paced role where accuracy, organisation, and a strong commitment to health and safety are essential. Responsibilities

• Accurately check orders and totes against route documentation and drop sheets.
• Identify, record, and report any missing orders or totes to the Line Manager.
• Allocate orders and totes to the correct pallet or route cage.
• Prioritise orders based on route departure times to ensure timely dispatch.
• Load vehicles safely and accurately in line with loading instructions.
• Ensure bins, boxes, bags, pallets, and cages are secured and stored correctly.
• Follow all load security procedures to maintain safe transportation standards.
• Sort empty totes into the correct locations for processing.
• Safely transfer orders to designated loading bays.
• Carry out re-picks of missing orders where required.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Support with additional operational duties as required by management.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse and transport environment.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines consistently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
Desirable
• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, transport, or distribution environment.
• Experience of loading vehicles and working to route schedules.
• Understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse setting.
