The Role: Polisher

The successful candidate will be an experienced Polisher familiar with delivering high quality finished joinery goods. They will have well developed skills in Spray polishing, paint and lacquer applications.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in safe delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities: 

1.      Health and Safety

• Manage solvents and paints in line with COSHH
• Manage spray activities and equipment to comply with DSEAR Assessment
• Keep work area and stores clean and safe

2.      Quality

• High quality finishes for Spray Coatings for Lacquers and Paints
• Organised material preparation and ability to recognise joinery defects 
• Ensuring products and materials stored to ensure quality of materials 
• Equipment management and maintenance

3.      Environment

• Ensure filters for extraction maintained and replaced as required
• Arranging correct storage and disposal of waste
• Be part of the Pollution Spill Response Team

What you will Bring

• Experience in spray polishing application for finished products
• Competence handing solvent in line with COSHH and DSEAR
• Experience in working to high standards of Quality, Health and Safety
