Principal Civil Engineer (PSR)

The Design Authority undertakes a vital role in ensuring that key defence infrastructure is safe and fit for purpose., ️ Deliver technical excellence in the specification, production and assessment of engineering design packages for infrastructure.

Carry out plant walkdowns and produce associated Periodic Safety Review (PSR) deliverables.

️ Specify reliability requirements and operational constraints for infrastructure to support safe and efficient operations.

Assess work control procedures for the maintenance of infrastructure, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.

Evaluate infrastructure design, material condition, equipment qualification and ageing mechanisms to enable the continued safe operation of facilities and utilities.

️ Champion a strong safety and security culture, ensuring safety remains at the forefront of all activities.

Act as an Intelligent Customer, ensuring the outputs of safety-related contracts meet contractual obligations, regulatory requirements and engineering standards.

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to support the technical capability of the Client Design Authority (DA). This role will be suited to engineers with experience in Civil design.
