Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £51,506 - £56,329 per annum
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: The post holder would be required to oversee and deal with the coordination of large scale housing development within the Highland area. This is an exciting opportunity at a time of significant change for the Highlands and its economy in helping to deliver the Green Freeport and tackle the housing challenge we face. The Highland is one of the early adopters in the promotion of Masterplan Consent Areas. The role would also entail dealing with a variety of complex and wide ranging applications whilst providing the opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland.

Requirements
Post qualification experience in a wide range of planning work, including development management.
Full Membership of the RTPI.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
