Experteer Overview In this Principal Project Manager role, you lead delivery of renewable energy projects across design, procurement and construction stages for global clients. You will manage client relationships, budgets, and governance while steering multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex energy infrastructure. The role combines hands-on project leadership with strategic oversight of risk and commercial performance. You'll work within a growing renewables team to turn ambitious energy solutions into tangible, scalable assets. Pay / Benefits

  • Lead mid- to large-scale projects with emphasis on construction phase Liaise with clients; manage day-to-day project work within time, scope and budget Address underperformance and resolve contract issues with clients Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction of renewable energy infrastructure Support procurement including Employer's Requirements and contract documentation (NEC/FIDIC/JCT/bespoke) Administer and manage NEC/FIDIC/JCT/Bespoke contracts including technology supply agreements Ensure construction aligns with contract requirements and best practices Contribute to client interface and build external/internal relationships Maintain project budgets, programme, and overall performance in line with contract Support governance from setup to completion, including reporting and invoicing Review project deliverables; perform quality control; participate in proposal development Direct and mentor junior staff Tasks BEng (Hons) in Engineering or diploma in Project Management Background in project and construction management with commercial awareness in the energy sector (construction phase) Experience leading projects in onshore wind, Solar PV, or hydroelectric (run-of-river and pumped storage) Strong focus on construction phase delivery and client-facing responsibilities Key requirements hybrid working model career development opportunities AECOM University volunteering days well-being programs global, inclusive culture
