Full Job Description

As our next Principle Geotechnical Engineer, you'll be involved in various geotechnical projects. Your remit will be to prepare fee bids and geotechnical scopes for the preparation of project budgets. Ensure our projects run to time and budget by providing geotechnical advice and support.

You'll be responsible for providing geotechnical advice and support at all stages of project development and the development of necessary site investigation scopes appropriate to the work content and support to site investigation work.

  • Experience writing clear and concise technical reports and documents

  • A wide range of experience, knowledge and skills in geotechnical engineering

  • A strong working knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practice

  • Strong analytical skills and in-depth experience in the geotechnical design of earthworks and structures

  • Experience in numerical modelling using PLAXIS and similar software is desirable

  • Candidates should be willing to travel within the Scotland., BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering

  • MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or a related applicable field is desirable

  • Chartered Engineer status is required or you must be on track to achieve this within the next 6 to 12 months, We are interested to hear from passionate and innovative Engineers.
