Producer

BBC Studios' Entertainment Productions are looking for a Glasgow-based Producer to join the iconic Points of View team and help shape the next block of episodes. If you're someone who loves TV and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this could be the role for you THE ROLE:

• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team (AP, Researcher & Junior Researcher)
• Oversee the collection of all audience comments and UGC clips
• Oversee assembly and rough cut of programme edit - selecting programme clips under Fair Dealing
• Oversee Due Diligence of contributors - referring to SP when appropriate
• Forward plan for future programmes - including future series, special episodes, key dates etc
  
  Highly developed planning and organising skills. Ability to manage several areas of work at one time, prioritising, delivering consistently to deadlines and reacting positively to changes and conflicting priorities.
• Sound editorial judgement and a thorough knowledge of editorial and legal guidelines.
• Manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with confidence.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• Proven experience on fast turnaround programmes at Producer level
• Strong editorial judgement & organisational skills
• A collaborative, proactive leadership style
• (Bonus) Edit producing experience but not essential
