Full Job Description
The GE Vernova Product Engineer will be an integral part of PT GENTS Hot Gas Path (HGP) Engineering Team, providing support to the repair of gas turbine components within PT GENTS facility. This role ensures repairs are executed in accordance with GE Vernova technical standards, quality requirements, and customer commitments, while supporting safety, delivery, cost, and continuous improvement objectives.,
- Provide engineering support for the repair and refurbishment of gas turbine components
- Interpret and apply GE Vernova engineering drawings, specifications, and technical instructions
- Develop, review, and initiate repair work scopes, repair methods, and technical dispositions
- Perform root cause analysis for repair issues, non-conformances, and in-process failures
- Support the development, qualification, and validation of repair processes and tooling (if any)
- Support internal and external audits, including customer, regulatory, and GE Vernova audits
- Interface with Global Engineering, Design, and Product Line teams to resolve technical issues and implement design updates
- Initiate any improvement projects and execute by collaborating with other departments
- Responsible for maintaining competitive repair costs as well as driving productivity projects
- Apply Lean methodologies to optimize safety, quality, cycle time, and overall operational performance.
- Adhere to all EHS procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Raise any concerns and/or stop works if observing any unsafe condition or quality risks during daily job.
- Participate in GE Lean Action Work Out (AWO) event.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Materials engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, or other related majors - Experience with gas turbine or power generation equipment is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency with Lean, quality improvement tools, and root cause analysis, High integrity and compliance to Company Rules & Company Values
- Open & Honest and Trustworthy
- Can work individually and in a team with high willingness to learn something new
- Willing to stay in Bandung
