Do you like large-scale software analytics problems? Are you thriving in being one step ahead and solving problems for development teams before they arise? Is defining engineering standards your favourite part of the job?

In this role you will be supporting the development of the platform that powers our customer-focused solutions. The platform provides capabilities that cover data ingestion and management, data modelling, presentation to our customers. Also provided by the platform are the core functions such as identity, notifications, supporting both internal and external customers to understand their business and market.

We are hiring Product Managers across a range of disciplines and product areas to assist with our platform product development, including:

  • Company Modelling and Valuations

  • Platform Governance

  • User interface and experience (UI/UX)

  • Data ingestion, processing, and management

  • API development and integration, You'll play a central role in setting the priorities and ensuring a smooth transition of existing pipelines.


  • Knowledge & experience
  • Existing Product Owner looking to expand their role within a large analytics environment.

  • Basic understanding of the product development process including agile software development, design process, and instrumenting analytics

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Understand constraints from a range of sources including technical, design, user, cost/value and regulatory

  • Understand the product development and engineering process from requirement definition through to validation

  • Basic knowledge on the sector the product serves, understanding of the major players, market conditions, and industry standards


  • Impact on the team
  • Foster healthy culture, support and direction for the team

  • Provide guidance, direction by defining user requirements with clear acceptance criteria across multiple features

  • Work with tech lead to identify solutions that work within a set of defined constraints

  • Work with scrum master to identify improved ways of working to support the team

  • Represent the team while work with senior product management, sales, and marketing to prioritise product value and benefits

  • Assist in documentation and testing of given solutions to ensure fit for customers

  • Ability to qualify and validate completed functionality to ensure fit for customers

  • Ensure team has a broader understanding of their impact on the wider data platform

  • Participate in daily scrums with engineering teams


  • Stakeholder & client relationships
  • Present relevant information to development and design teams to secure buy in and clarify problem statement

  • Translate requirements from customers and defining the product functionality according to wider customer needs

  • Inform senior stakeholders on progress and raise risks to the appropriate level

  • Gather feedback from relevant customers and internal stakeholders

    We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to be an integral part of a high functioning and innovative team. It requires a unique blend of business knowledge and technical savviness to create the big-picture vision and turn it into reality.


  • About you and how you can excel in this role

    You will be a self-starter, energised by a challenge, passionate about realising and delivering an enterprise data platform to the rest of the business. You will have:
  • A desire to develop your career in product management, experience in prioritising work and working within often conflicting constraints

  • Experience of building and supporting PaaS/SaaS platforms for supporting the development and delivery of common capabilities to support a suite of products

  • Ensure robust Quality Assurance for developed capabilities to support scalability and availability

  • Internal customer-led experience of leading a team developing a platform or API to support a large-scale analytics platform would be an advantage

  • Experience of building a medium-term road map for platform capabilities, taking into account a wide range of requests, and prioritising short, medium and long term objectives

  • Knowledge of data architecture and platforms would be an advantage. Ideally some experience of data management tools and large-scale database supporting analytics including relational and graph databases, and handling archive and real-time data in large volumes

  • An understanding of Agile, LEAN and iterative software development

  • Experienced collaborator across diverse customers (Research, Data, UX, Engineering) to achieve customer-focused results

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • An interest in making a difference to the way we power the planet

  • Experience with JIRA and Productboard is a plus
