Full Job Description

Are you an experienced Project Architect looking to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of MOD and major projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Architect like you to contribute to the success of our client’s ground breaking initiatives.

They are a leading force in the MOD design industry, renowned for their commitment to excellence, innovation and designing and delivering top notch projects. With a rich history of successful project delivery they are seeking a Project Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their work.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • contributing from the onset of projects to the design of innovative and progressive design solutions that reconcile client’s goals and priorities while fostering opportunities for design excellence.
  • Perform material and building system research and participate in the coordination and preparation of project specifications
  • Ensuring CDM safety in design
  • Organising yourself and other technical staff to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet all requirements of the design brief and client requirement documents
  • Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design documentation prepared by the team.

 

Qualifications:

  • ARB qualified Architect with circa 5 years post part III experience.
  • Proficient in Revit
  • Experience working on UK defence projects as well as education (desirable), industrial (desirable), and healthcare (desirable)
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe and Microsoft Office projects
  • Understanding of BIM level 2 requirements and processes.
