Project Assistant | Power and Renewables

To assist the Project Management team deliver all aspects of the Project Administration required, with reference to project compliance with Kirby way, procurement, documentation, administration, and good practice. Responsibilities

• Maintaining the document Control of the project documents.
• Working with the Project Management team to provide project management administration and support across multiple Projects at any one time.
• Establish Project Compliance with the Kirby way.
• Provide Project procurement for small miscellaneous items, consumables and plant.
• To keep up to date key project files (electronic and hard copy) including the risk register, project programmes, drawings and technical information and provide information as required to other teams.
• To service and set up internal and external project meetings and to take notes and produce a timely and accurate record of proceedings.
• To collate and chase project information, remind team members of key deadlines and assist with ensuring the project is delivered on time.
• To provide a central point of contact for communication of the progress of individual projects
  
  Strong Administration skills
• Can-do and pro-active approach to project and procurement work
• Confident phone manner
• Excellent IT skills (particularly excel, working with budget spreadsheets and cashflows)
• Ability to work on different tasks at the same time and juggling priorities
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for fostering good relations with staff, suppliers, funders and directors.
• Preferable previous experience within the construction industry
• Commercially aware
