Project Coordinator (Visitor Systems)

How you'll contribute to our mission

Play a key role in the successful implementation, transition and development of new ticketing and retail EPOS systems at Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park.

Working across Commercial, Retail, Finance, IT and other key teams, coordinate the practical delivery of the project, ensuring that systems, processes and people are ready for implementation

 Some of the things you’ll do:

• Coordinate the implementation of new ticketing and retail EPOS systems across Edinburgh Zoo and Highland Wildlife Park.
• Act as the key link between RZSS teams, consultants, suppliers and external system providers.
• Gather and document operational, commercial and system requirements.
• Manage project plans, timelines, actions, risks, issues and key milestones.
• Lead and coordinate system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure ticketing, events, membership and retail payments and reporting processes are fully tested and operational.
• Develop and coordinate training across both sites, ensuring the team are confident for launch.
• Coordinate go-live planning and provide hands-on support during implementation.
• Support the development of reporting and data requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency in visitor experience and commercial performance.
• Assist in the development of project management systems such as project budgets, project schedules, scope statements and project plans.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, ePos system management, visitor operations management
• Understanding of Access Gamma ePos system
• Understanding of basic principles of project management
• Working knowledge of retail systems (e.g. Shopify, Lightspeed) 
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to understand and work within budgets
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and performance information
• Ability to appreciate and manage broad objectives, aspirations and financial constraints
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to understand briefs, including preparing, annotating and altering proposals

Starting salary of £29,131 - £29,859 (full time) pro rata salary to be offered on 20 hours per week (£15,537 - £15,925 based on experience)
