Project Engineer

As a Project Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of delivering critical submarine projects that support national defence. You'll help ensure our fleet remains mission-ready by managing engineering work packages across multiple vessel systems. This is a role where your technical expertise and project management skills will directly contribute to the safety and performance of the Royal Navy's submarine capability. Day-to-day you'll be:

• Delivering engineering projects to meet safety, time, quality and cost targets
• Compiling project management plans from agreed scopes of work
• Supporting and deputising for the Project Manager to maximise team efficiency
• Coordinating with vessels, shore departments and MoD stakeholders
• Ensuring all work packages are captured, approved and implemented within PEPS
This role is full time, 36 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.


• Experience in project planning and risk management
• Familiarity with process improvement techniques
• Strong computer literacy
• Ability to work safely at height
• Knowledge of submarine systems and equipment (desirable)
Qualifications for the Project Engineer
• HNC/HND in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• APM certifications (any level) are desirable but not essential
Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
