We're Scotland's public sector auditor, independent of Government - we employ around 280 talented professionals who know that their work helps ensure the efficient and effective delivery of public services across Scotland. We believe that public money (around £37.5bn) should be spent wisely to make the lives of Scotland's people the very best it can be. There's plenty of change ahead with greater devolution of constitutional powers, digital delivery of public services through the web, demographic shifts in our population and a continued focus upon the best use of precious financial resources. Our people want to help ensure Scotland makes the very best of the opportunities ahead and that change is delivered well - good financial reporting and great value for money.
