Full Job Description
- Overall responsibility for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the substation project
- Managing programme, budget, quality, and safety performance
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Liaising with clients, DNOs/IDNOs, designers, and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, HSE standards, and industry best practice
Proven experience as a Project Manager on substation, power, or HV infrastructure projects - Strong understanding of electrical and civil works within substations
- Relevant qualification in engineering, construction management, or similar
- SMSTS and CSCS (or equivalent)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence Desirable
- Experience working with SPEN, SSE, or National Grid projects
- Knowledge of NEC contracts
- Previous experience delivering projects in live substation environments
