Experteer Overview As Project Planner, you drive integrated schedules and resource plans for a portfolio of high-value, international packaging projects. You work with cross-functional teams to keep scope, priorities and resources aligned, mitigating schedule risks and bottlenecks. You'll contribute to project controls, forecasting and EVM to support on-time delivery and successful outcomes. This role blends planning with continuous improvement, offering exposure across the full project lifecycle and opportunities for progression. Pay / Benefits

  • Create and maintain integrated project schedules from pre-contract to completion Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to reflect scope and resources in schedules Identify schedule risks, critical paths and delivery bottlenecks; develop proactive mitigation Lead structured project review cycles and ensure accurate progress updates and communications Consolidate schedules and resource plans for portfolio visibility Produce KPIs and Earned Value Management metrics to inform decisions Monitor progress and forecast to support on-time delivery and risk management Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead times and improve workflow execution Support planning and project delivery across the wider Howden network, including international collaboration Promote safety, quality and operational excellence in line with Howden standards Tasks Proven experience in project scheduling, planning or project controls in manufacturing, engineering or project-based environments Solid understanding of project planning and scheduling principles Experience with scheduling/ planning software; Smartsheet highly desirable Ability to identify and mitigate schedule, resource and delivery risks Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience driving process improvements across cross-functional teams Proactive, customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality outcomes Desirable: APM/ PMI or other project management qualification, or willingness to pursue Desirable: experience in high-value engineered-to-order or manufacturing environments Desirable: knowledge of EVM methodologies Desirable: Power BI, Autodesk or related tools; Advanced Excel Desirable: familiarity with commercial contracts and project delivery frameworks Desirable: knowledge of compressor packaging systems or engineered products Key requirements Flexible hybrid working 33 days annual leave Pension plan with employer contribution Company electric vehicle scheme Enhanced parental leave Healthcare cash plan
