Full Job Description
If you're looking for an opportunity to work on some of the most technically complex projects in the industry, this could be one worth exploring.
We are working with a well established architectural practice with a strong pipeline of work across healthcare, education, science and technology. Their projects are highly technical in nature, often involving research facilities, laboratories and specialist environments where coordination, technical delivery and attention to detail are critical to project success.
Due to continued project wins and a growing workload, they are looking to appoint an Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative studio environment delivering projects from Stage 3 onwards, working closely with clients, consultants and wider design teams to develop and deliver innovative design solutions.
This is a role that will particularly appeal to someone who enjoys technically challenging work and wants to develop their expertise within a sector that continues to attract significant investment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that support research, innovation and scientific advancement while working alongside experienced professionals who are recognised for delivering complex buildings to a high standard.
The practice is particularly interested in speaking with Architects who have previous experience within Science & Technology, laboratory, healthcare or other technically demanding sectors. However, they are equally open to considering individuals from different project backgrounds who can demonstrate strong technical ability, a willingness to learn and the capacity to adapt quickly to new project types.
The successful candidate will be involved in developing detailed design information, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, attending client and consultant meetings and helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently through the technical stages of design. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment will be important.
Applicants should be ARB registered and able to demonstrate experience delivering projects through the technical stages. Proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of UK Building Regulations would be highly advantageous. Most importantly, the practice is looking for someone who is technically capable, commercially aware and motivated to contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects.
In return, you will be joining a practice with an impressive pipeline of work, a supportive team environment and the opportunity to develop specialist expertise within one of the industry's most interesting and rapidly evolving sectors.
The client is interviewing immediately and is keen to speak with suitable candidates as soon as possible.
