Project / Senior Architect

There are plenty of Project Architect roles that talk about technical delivery. Fewer actually give you the opportunity to focus on it.

This position sits within a well established design practice with a strong workload, a growing pipeline of projects and a reputation for delivering complex commercial developments across the UK. As demand continues to increase, they are looking to strengthen their Glasgow team with the addition of an experienced Project Architect who enjoys taking projects through the technical stages and seeing designs become reality.

The role would suit somebody who is confident working through RIBA Stages 4 and 5 and who enjoys the challenge of coordinating information, resolving technical issues and delivering high quality projects on site. Whilst design remains important, this is very much a delivery focused position where technical ability and project execution are highly valued.

You will be working across a portfolio of industrial, commercial and retail developments, with project values typically ranging from £5 million to £20 million. The successful candidate will take ownership of certain projects whilst supporting the wider delivery of others, working closely with colleagues, consultants and clients throughout the process.

Revit is an essential requirement for this position. The practice operates fully within Revit and is looking for somebody who can contribute from day one rather than requiring extensive software training. Beyond this, they are keen to speak with architects who have strong technical detailing skills, experience producing and coordinating construction information, and a good understanding of the realities of project delivery.

The position is based in Glasgow and is office based on a full time basis. Salary is anticipated to fall between £37,000 and £50,000 depending on experience, although there may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.
