Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Moray Family Wellbeing service working in partnership with partners to support children, young people and their families. We are looking for enthusiastic, warm, creative and relational workers to complement our team to offer individual and family support; peer led groups and taking part in community activities. This is an exciting yet demanding role which will require you to get alongside children and their families where, when and how best suits them. We are looking for a special Project Worker who is passionate about protecting children in the context of their families, with a strong value base and personal resilience. You will have a sound knowledge of the impact of trauma and adversity on parenting and on children and you will play a lead role within the team in planning the work with children and their families, creating meaningful plans that promote children s safety and wellbeing. In turn you will join a relational, connected organisation that prioritises quality and supports its workforce to deliver this through strong relationships, as we realise this is what makes the biggest difference to children and families. If you have suitable experience of working with children and their families and have a professional qualification in a relevant area such as Social Work, Teaching, Child Care/Social Care or related area, accredited counselling qualification, or other relevant qualification at SCQF level 9 or higher then we want to hear from you.
