Full Job Description

  • Developing our Business: Deepen your understanding of client needs and expectations, identify opportunities to lead CRM activities, build you own network and cross-refer work where appropriate.

    Practical experience of advising on regulated procurement and commercial contracts.
  • Be a strong team player, with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage a complex and varied workload effectively
  • Be self-motivated and willing to learn
  • Experience of leading others to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Must be a SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer

The procurement team enjoys a rich and varied workload, handling some of the largest, most complex and politically-sensitive regulated procurements in the UK on behalf of household name clients, including UK government departments and many key strategic suppliers to Government. Our procurement lawyers combine extensive expertise with deep technical insight across a range of sectors. We support public sector clients by developing and implementing procurement strategies, drafting and negotiating bespoke tender and contract documentation, and providing practical and effective risk mitigation advice. We also work with bidders to maximise their prospects for successful awards.
