Full Job Description

  • Carrying out fire asset checks in line with internal procedures, accurately identifying and reporting any risks or defects
  • Completing full domestic EPC assessments, including measurements, data capture, photographic evidence and lodgement
  • Undertaking on-site property inspections of communal and demised areas, capturing clear evidence and escalating issues where required
  • Supporting additional inspection types as the service develops
  • Maintaining accurate, high-quality inspection records and submitting findings within agreed timescales
  • Working flexibly across locations and where required, adjusting working hours (including occasional evenings or weekends) to meet service needs

  • Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality assessment reports
  • Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and web-based platforms
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner
  • Ability to undertake regular site visits, including walking and stair use
    • Desirable:
  • Experience working in residential or social housing environments
  • Previous experience of property inspections, fire asset checks or compliance-related roles
