Full Job Description
Working hours : Monday to Friday with working hours rotating on a weekly basis between 7am - 3pm and 8.30am to 4.30pm, Perform raw material and finished goods release testing according to standard operating procedures in a timely and efficient manner. Key tasks for this role include:
- Raw Material Sampling and testing
- Water sampling and testing
- Identification by FTIR
- Basic wet chemistry techniques,karlfisher analysis,andHPLC.
- Calibration and maintenance of equipment
- May berequiredto perform other related duties asrequiredand/or assigned.
- Provide support toinitiateand implement validation processes, technicalinvestigationsand improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the preparation of written reports as and whenrequired.
- Maintain thorough and complete product test recordsper inhouse testing procedures andin accordance withISO 13485 standards.
- Participate in personal development opportunities to further enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the position., Will liaise extensively with all otherdepartmentwithin the operational department. Customer and external lab communication is also expected within this role.
Requires a bachelor's degree within a Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology discipline., Previous experience in QC testing within biotechnology environment or a similar manufacturing environment would be a strong advantage - Preferably prior experience in a GMP or laboratory setting
- Preferably experience in raw material and/or water testing, identification by FTIR or experience in wet chemistry techniques, Karl Fischer analysis, HPLC, UPLC.
- Good aseptic techniques required
- Strong interpersonal skills and a dedication to excellence
- Ability to troubleshoot lab based queries and prioritise workload
- Able to work independently as well as work within a diverse team
- Familiar with MS Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills Other requirements:
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment and to effectively interact with all levels of the company.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external development team members are essential.

Work inconducted in an analytical lab environment.Is requiredperformraw material sampling, this will involve the movement of boxes and pallets.
