Full Job Description

  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children.

  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.

  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

    We are seeking a qualified staff member who loves children and has a passion for teaching and nourishing them. You will have the opportunity to work either with our 2-3 year olds or our 3-5 year olds, guiding them through their crucial early years with love, care, and expertise., Sound knowledge of the following documents is essential:

  • Pre-Birth to Three

  • Curriculum for Excellence

  • Realising the Ambition

  • Health and Social Care Standards

  • GIRFEC (Getting It Right for Every Child)


  • Requirements:
  • Relevant childcare qualification (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

  • A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A team player with a positive attitude.

  • All candidates must be a member of the PVG scheme and registered with the SSSC., GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)

  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

  • Management: 1 year (preferred)


  • Licence/Certification:
  • Driving Licence (preferred)

  • Hours: 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, over 4 days.
