The Job

As a member of LinkLiving’s Leadership Team, the Quality Assurance and Business Support Manager will support the Leadership Team in the provision of professional planning and communication to assist in the design and delivery of quality, performance management, business improvement and compliance projects both within LinkLiving and as a representative of LinkLiving for Link Group. The postholder will also undertake a range of business support functions as directed by the Director of Services and Development. The post is key to ensuring LinkLiving fulfils its commitment to ensuring that all activities are high quality, deliver positive outcomes and are in line with regulatory requirements. The post holder will also support frontline service delivery managers by undertaking a range of ‘non-operational’ business support functions enabling them more capacity to focus on service delivery management.

About You

You will have a relevant qualification equivalent to SCQF Level 6, or substantial practical experience within social care and/or quality assurance. You will have previous experience in a quality assurance role, a regulated health and social care service, or a similar organisation. You will have knowledge of the Health and Social Care Standards and relevant regulatory legislation, together with experience of liaising with the Care Inspectorate and providing information as part of standard inspections.

You will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to plan, organise and prioritise your workload effectively. You will be able to work independently using your own initiative, while also contributing positively as part of a team. You will handle confidential information appropriately and in line with GDPR, demonstrating sensitivity and professionalism when dealing with potentially complex or sensitive information.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences. You will be confident using Microsoft Office and database systems and will be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and external stakeholders at all levels. You will also have strong influencing skills and the confidence to constructively challenge and support improvements in quality and outcomes.

This role is subject to PVG membership under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Individuals who are barred from working with children or protected adults will not be considered for this position. Link will meet the cost of any new PVG scheme membership or membership update.
