Full Job Description
Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Quality Technician based in Dumbarton. You'll actively support production with investigations and resolution of issues across all reporting sources. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers' worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades. What you'll do as a Quality Technician:
- Manage non-conforming material, including daily triage, containment and support through to resolution in line with production plans
- Support manufacturing line fallout, production line stops, and fault-at-test investigations, ensuring timely issue identification and escalation
- Process receiving inspections, including transaction handling and defective material management to maintain quality standards
- Assist with delivered quality and warranty investigations, working alongside Quality Engineers to gather data and support root cause analysis
- Contribute to daily production activities, including DR actions, screening, and reviews ensuring progress updates and closure of assigned tasks
Mechanical and/or Electrical background, with a solid understanding of component assembly and integration - HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline is desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills across mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues effectively
- Confident communicator with good organisational skills, able to manage workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with experience of quality systems such as Q-Pulse (or similar) advantageous
