Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity within a leading infrastructure business?

We're working with a major infrastructure contractor who is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial Team in Scotland, supporting a portfolio of long-term projects across Scottish Water's capital investment programmes.

Interest – What will you be involved in?

Working across a range of clean and wastewater infrastructure projects, you'll play an important role in managing the commercial and financial aspects of project delivery.

You'll work closely with operational, commercial and procurement teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and in line with contractual requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

Managing the commercial administration and financial performance of projects.

Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts.

Preparing accurate financial reports and cost analysis.

Supporting procurement strategies and subcontractor management.

Identifying commercial risks, opportunities and potential cost savings.

Challenging financial variances and driving value throughout project delivery.

Working collaboratively with project delivery teams to ensure contractual and commercial compliance.

Action – What are we looking for?

We're keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who have experience working within civil engineering, infrastructure or the wider construction industry.

Ideally, you'll have:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or an HNC/HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Previous Quantity Surveying or commercial experience.

Strong financial analysis, cost control and forecasting skills.

The ability to work effectively with operational and commercial teams.

A proactive approach to identifying commercial opportunities and managing project costs.

A full UK driving licence.
