Position Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Quarry Operative to join our Temple team. In this hands-on role, you’ll help maintain conveyor belts, plant areas, and quarry infrastructure to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and clean conveyor belts, plant areas, and walkways
* Dig out and remove material build-up from under belts and around quarry plant
* Strim and clear vegetation to keep work areas safe and accessible
* Assist with conveyor maintenance, roller changes, belt repairs, and shutdown work
* Inspect belts and plant for wear or damage and report faults
* Support general quarry housekeeping and drainage clearing duties
* Follow all health, safety, and isolation procedures while working around heavy machinery
* Work closely with maintenance teams and operators to keep plant running safely and efficiently.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

* Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental procedures
* Ability to carry out physically demanding outdoor work safely and efficiently
* Basic knowledge of conveyor belt and quarry plant maintenance
* Experience using hand tools, strimmers, and maintenance equipment
* Reliable team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
