Full Job Description
The Trainer/Assessor has responsibility for training delivery and quality assurance compliance. This role reports directly to the Training Manager, in whose absence the Training Director.,
- Delivery of rail safety training and workplace assessments
- Comply with accrediting bodies to ensure compliance with quality assurance requirements
- Maintain effective liaison with management and administration staff
- Assist with the management of training facility and resources
- Record, monitor and review learner progress
- Assist in the development of training course materials
- Assist in the upskilling and mentorship of trainers/assessors
- Actively promote the equality, diversity & inclusion policy
- Internal verification (as required)
- Attendance at standardisation and training meetings
- Undertake regular CPD and maintain relevant records of such
- Any other relevant duties requested
NSAR approved trainer/assessor status - Trainer and Assessor Qualifications relevant to RTAS rules
- Thorough understanding of RTAS Rules and quality assurance compliance requirements
- IT literate
- Excellent presentation skills
- Knowledge of rail industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise effectively
- Ability to perform under pressure and work on own initiative
- Positive attitude
- Reliable and dependable
