Full Job Description
St Mirren FC have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist to join a very small but busy team. The receptionist will be the first face our visitors and guests see and will be responsible for welcoming guests as well as taking phonecalls and setting up meetings. The role includes administrative tasks to be carried out and a requirement to work on match days.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Be the face of St Mirren FC, meeting and greeting visitors and guests
- Providing a professional service to a diverse range of customers
- Organising general emails, fielding these to the relevant department
- Answering and transferring calls to the relevant department in a timely and professional manner
- Filing, scanning and photocopying
- Opening and distributing daily delivery of mail
- Ensuring Data Protection Legislation is adhered to
- Ensuring standardised procedures are followed
- Entering and extracting information and reports from various databases
- Any other general administration/reception duties as required
- Any other reasonable duties as directed by a senior member of staff
Skills and Experience
- Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Relevant administration experience
- Ability to Multitask
- Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service
- Flexible attitude to working patterns
- An outgoing and very confident personality with ability to communicate at all levels
- Polite and well presented
- Committed to providing exceptional service
- Ability to work closely as part of a team
- Experience of using social media is desirable
- Previous reception experience is desirable
