Receptionist / Optical Assistant

Prepare examination rooms and maintain cleanliness and organization
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and maintenance
- Help patients select frames and lenses that suit their needs and style preferences
- Perform basic repairs and adjustments on eyewear
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and other optical supplies
- Schedule appointments and handle administrative tasks as needed

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Optical Assistant. As an Optical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing support to our optometrists and ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our optical practice. This is a paid position., Previous experience as an Optical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of ocular anatomy and basic laboratory procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
