Receptionist and Reservations Agent

We are on the search for a guest centred and enthusiastic individual to join us at The Sonas Hotel Collection as a Receptionist and Reservations Agent.

This role will be based at Duisdale House Hotel, on the Isle of Skye.

You will be supporting across the two departments with the actual split to be discussed during the interview process., When working in Reception, you will work closely with the Reception Manager to ensure that we deliver a great guest experience in our hotels. Alongside the Reception Manager, you will also work closely with the other hotel departments and the central support team.

When working in Reservations, you will be part of the central operations team working closely with the Reservations Manager to be the first point of contact for guest bookings across our collection of hotels.

There is the additional opportunity for commission based pay for hours worked in reservations - details to be discussed during the interview process.

Given the remote location of this role, we do offer staff accommodation for those who require it - rates to be discussed during the interview process.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

• Check in / out of all guests of the business.


• Answering questions / queries from all guests of the business.


• Sharing local knowledge and information with all guests of the business.


• Ensuring adherence to all current legislation including but not limited to Health & Safety.


• Ensuring guest satisfaction in all areas of the business, and resolution / escalation of any guest concerns or complaints.


• Processing of payments in a timely and efficient manner.


• Promote a positive people culture through effective communication.


• Ensure that all guest bookings are completed accurately.
  
  Previous experience in a similar role.


• A passion for hospitality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
